Brutally funny
Tymon Shipp has been making audiences laugh since 1990. His material covers his childhood in one of the most dangerous cities in America and how parenting has changed over the years. His observations on everything from romantic relationships to extreme weather to shopping at Home Depot are funny and relatable.
His clean comedy has landed him gigs at corporate events, colleges, and military bases as well as nine appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. One appearance parodied a popular TV franchise: “Law & Order: Special NFL Victims Unit.” Tymon’s performances at comedy clubs and festivals skew a little blue, but always heartfelt and hilarious. His decades of experience with Los Angeles County Probation continue to give him material to mine for the stage. Along the way he’s performed at several festivals and won a few awards.
